Marta J. Chadid Urzola

Biography

She serves as Special Advisor to the Occupational Health and Safety Department, where she is responsible for providing technical advisory services and developing safety programs to ensure that business operations comply with the applicable occupational health and safety regulations. She also conducts corporate audits aimed at verifying compliance with the legal requirements applicable to this area.

She has experience in environmental consulting and in the standardization of tools for the collection and analysis of client information. She has participated in the development of Environmental Legal Compliance Audit templates and procedures for companies in the Dominican Republic, as well as in auditing and assessing the preparation and submission of Environmental Compliance Reports to the Ministry of Environment. In addition, she has served as an auditor for hotels seeking to obtain the Green Key environmental certification.

She holds a degree in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from Universidad de La Salle, Bogotá, Colombia. She earned a Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention from the University of A Coruña, Spain, through a partnership with INTEC in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She also completed a Postgraduate Executive Development Program at BARNA Business School, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
