Jhonayri Vásquez Cabrera

She holds a Law degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude, as well as a Master’s Degree in Administrative Law and Economic Regulation from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law from the University of the Basque Country.

She has solid experience in obtaining authorizations for the development and operation of projects, as well as in analyzing regulations applicable to the tourism, industrial, and environmental sectors. Her experience includes managing the Scan EHS platform, conducting legal compliance audits, and providing advisory services in connection with tax incentive applications before CONFOTUR, among other areas.

She has further enhanced her professional qualifications through diploma programs and seminars at institutions including the Universidad Domínico-Americano, Instituto OMG, Bureau Veritas, the Higher Institute of the Environment of Madrid, YOUNGO, and the Inter-American Institute for Economic and Social Development (INDES) of the Inter-American Development Bank. Her areas of specialization include environmental auditing, land-use planning, ISO 14001 internal auditing, biodiversity in environmental impact assessments, and the transportation of hazardous substances (ADR), among others.

In her extracurricular activities, she has served as Vice President of Research and Publications of the PUCMM chapter of the International Law Students Association (ILSA) and as President of ADO-INDEX, the alumni association of the Government of Japan’s INDEX Program. She is also a member of several organizations, including COLADIC-RD and the Educational Leadership Program of the Ministry of Education.
