Romina Santroni is a founding partner of the firm and has since led the environmental and regulatory practice for investment projects, with particular emphasis on the tourism and real estate sectors, food and beverages, industrial projects, and the film industry. She has focused her practice on environmental consulting, tourism, and land-use matters, developing strategies to achieve sustainability and feasibility for the construction and operation of major investment projects across various economic sectors. She has represented more than 500 projects involving investment incentives approvals and comprehensive licensing processes, with investment amounts exceeding US$2 billion. She provides advice on permits, discharges, contaminated sites, protected areas, urban planning, land use, environmental permits, water resources, agribusiness, waste management, and investment incentives.

She obtained her law degree from the National University of Lomas de Zamora, Argentina, in 2001. She earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law from the University of the Basque Country, Spain, in 2010, and completed a Postgraduate Program in Executive Development at Barna Business School. She also completed diplomas in International Taxation and the Real Estate Sector at the University of CEMA (UCEMA) in 2025 and 2026, respectively. She is an ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certified by Bureau Veritas and a Registered Environmental Consultant accredited by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources for the coordination of environmental impact studies.

She is co-author of the Dominican Cassation Jurisprudence Yearbook 2024, with the study entitled “Construction in Protected Areas, Conflict and Legal Gaps.” She also participated as co-author of the chapter corresponding to the Dominican Republic in the book Legal Protection of Tourists in Comparative Law (Buenos Aires, Ed. Ladevi, 2008). She has also contributed to specialized publications, including Environment and Climate Change of the International Comparative Legal Guide, as well as various articles published in the journal Gerencia Ambiental.

Additionally, since 2010, she has promoted the Waste Law initiative in the Dominican Republic, which was subsequently approved by the National Congress, representing a significant contribution to the development of environmental regulations in the country.

She has been recognized by the leading law firm ranking institution, Chambers and Partners, as well as by Who’s Who Legal, for her expertise in the environmental field.
